Our Aviation camps and workshops are designed to be fun, engaging and educational. We offer camps and workshops for students of ages -
We generally divide our camps between Lower School kids (grades 4 and 5), Middle School kids (grades 6, 7 and 8) and High School kids (grades 9, 10,11 and 12). We also provide adult workshops.
Camps and workshops are geared to both the aviation enthusiast as well as to the aspiring pilot.
WHAT WE DO:
First off, students will learn fundamentals of aircraft design, US airspace structure, how to read aviation charts, fundamentals of meteorology and actually perform aircraft pre-flight on working flight school aircraft.
Next, we ACTUALLY FLY DRONES! Yes, your student will apply the knowledge gained and show understanding by piloting small drones through a series of courses.
Finally, WE GO TO THE AIRPORT! Yes, we actually go to an active flight line and board a flight training aircraft - We will conduct a full pre-flight inspection of the aircraft, inside and out. This is the culmination of the week long camp where students can truly see and apply what they have learned throughout the camp!
PLUS: All camps and workshops offer an
OPTIONAL ONE-HOUR DISCOVERY FLIGHT WITH LICENSED FLIGHT INSTRUCTOR!
